We are travelers and travel bloggers. Here at this blog, we'll tell you about places we've been that we think will be of interest to other travelers. Whether on the road in our RV, taking a non-RV vacation or simply investigating our local surroundings, we are constantly discovering new places and things to do, and we love sharing those discoveries with you.

Happy Trails!

About the Authors

J.R. Secor (aka RVpainter) and Melissa Goodwin (aka DW) have been married for more than 30 years. Throughout those years, they have supported each other’s artistic, creative and lifestyle dreams, including their dream to live and travel in an RV. They made that dream come true in 2012, when they lived full-time in their RV for just under a year, traveling through 23 states and four Canadian provinces. All along the way, they wrote and blogged about the experience; DW sharing photographs and road stories and RVPainter sharing his art and painting techniques, along with RVing information, advice and tips. His practical advice, down-to-earth attitude and enthusiastic encouragement have helped many a wanna-be RVer take the leap into his or her own RV adventures. Now RVPainter and DW are delighted to share their experiences and insight in this book, with the hope that it will encourage even more people to realize their RV dreams.

Melissa Ann Goodwin is the author of two highly-acclaimed young adult novels, The Christmas Village and Return to Canterbury. These books are the culmination of her lifelong dream to write the kind of stories she loved to read as a child. She has been published extensively in children's and national magazines and won a Writer's Digest Annual Poetry Competition Award in 2010. Melissa also teaches yoga and is currently working on her third novel.

J.R. Secor is an artist who paints in acrylic with brush and palette knife. Early on, he was strongly influenced by artists Tony van Hasselt and Judi Wagner, whose loose style appealed to his more structured (but not-at-all-obsessive-compulsive) nature.
